Job Description Junior SocialMedia Specialist
Brief job description:
- Understand the environment of Melia Hotels International Brands and Hotels. Know the tone and form of communication of the different brands and hotels.
- Respond to and energise the Melia Hotels International Social Media community around the world.
- Manage these responses in all the social media channels that Melia Hotels International currently has: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
- Empathise with users, responding in the shortest possible time so that they feel attended to in an agile and efficient manner.
- Redirect incidents arising in the digital environment to the departments and areas responsible in each case.
- Coordinate with your counterpart in Spain in order to ensure the correct transfer of information and incidents that arise during the established hours.
- Reporting to the Service Coordinator in Spain for the follow-up of the tasks to ensure the project objectives are met.

- Creativity
- Knowledge of Social Media
- Fluency in oral and written Spanish and English
- Basic knowledge of social media tools
- Good office automation skills
- Agility and ease in the use of technological tools.
Experience and training:
- Studies in marketing, advertising, tourism or similar.
- Experience in social media management - at least one year.
- Experience in the tourism and/or hospitality sector would be an asset.
- Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
