We are looking for a professional with proven experience in the role ofCloud Architect for an important technology company

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS

Minimum Requirements

●Experiencedeploying and operating infrastructure on AWS: ECS with EC2/Fargate, EC2, LoadBalancers, CloudFront, Api Gateway, Lambdas, Step Functions, Event Bridge, DMS,Kinesis, Config Rules, SSM Automation.

●Infrastructure as code, mainly with cloudformation and now also with Terraform

●Automation with Python using boto3 library

● Ansible

● Microservices architecture using containers on ECS mainly.

● Musthave the ability to deploy the infrastructure and handle incidents on it

DesiredRequirements

● Strongbackground in system automation and Linux administration.
● Experience of three-layers architectures: web (Apache), engine(tomcat/spring) and database (MySQL,
PostgreSQL, ORACLE, and NoSQL databases).
● Experience in source code tools, continuous integration tools and teammanagement tools.

Responsibilities& Tasks

● Creatingcloud-based infrastructure required by the software team in AWS.
● Creating and maintaining scripts to activate and deactivate instances ondemand.
● Maintaining security compliances like passwords, key rotation policies.
● Providing direct support during various operations such as deployment andgeneral production.
● Collaborating with developers to ensure that new environments meetrequirements and conform to best
practices
● Define several types of alerts (OpsGenie alerts) that monitor system’s healthand report any issues if
they occur and when they do, the DevOps team takes ownership of the issues andresolves them
themselves or at least escalates them to the proper team.
● Cost savings/ cost optimisation is a huge part of their activities.
● Last but not least, they work with the DEV/STE team to deploy new softwarereleases in the cloud.
